We got our first Pembroke Welsh Corgi from our former landlord who was abusing him. We named him Fatz Domino and he gave us companionship and love. That is when we fell in love with the breed. Then came Raz Ma Taz II, Chloe Ode to Gertrude (in recognition of my husband's late grandmother) and Winnie Honey Pooh.

One day, we decided after watching a 4-H dog show that we wanted to try showing my Pembroke. We started off in obedience with several disappointments. We were getting discouraged when a obedience judge would not let us go last instead of first because of a judging conflict. If it were not for Christy Collins, a professional handler, we would have given up. She encouraged us and took us under her wing. She then introduced us to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi crowd. They all welcomed us with open arms and showed us into their loving family of show traveling Cardigan Welsh Corgis. Thanks to Tartanwyn Cardigan Corgis bred by Laura Calkin's we got our first show quality Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Tartanwyn's Princess Fiona. Fiona comes from Tartanwyn's Dazzlin Solitaire and Ch.Kennebec Everybody Loves...(Raymond).

New to the family is Davenitch's Tobias' Angel. He comes from Connie Whan's Ch. Davenitch Echoing Angels and Ch. Pecan Valley Avalanche. Tobi has a wonderful topline, good bone and substance, that beautiful Davenitch head, and smooth effortless movement. Also we welcome Sunny Garden's Tinkerbell from Sandy Johnson's UKC CH Pynewood A Scandalous Kiss and AKC Ch, UKC Grand Ch, and Intl. Ch. Birdwing High Rolling Man. Tinker has a wonderful temperament, gorgeous topline, and a beautiful head. We will be welcoming two new puppy out of our breeding of Tartanwyn's Princess Fiona and Ch. Kennebec Windtalker, UKC CH Laughing Dawg's Siagon Cinnamon and Laughing Dawg's Silver Nutmeg. Both were AKC pointed at 6 months of age. I am excited to see the puppies grow up to be wonderful specimens of the breed.

We are proud members of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America since 2008.
